Greetings from Louisiana. I'm Ann and own three pugs: Rosebud, Gumdrop and James-Beauregard, aka Jimbo. I've been a certified pugaholic for over ten years and have no interest in being cured! My favorite pug website is www.PugVillage.com and I love meeting new friends and their pugs. I find that about 99% of the time pug owners have much more in common than just their love of pugs. I also enjoy designing pug costumes, sewing, and gardening. I'm almost as addicted to Animal Planet and HGTV as I am to pugs, but not quite! You can email me HERE.

My name is Karen. I am a new pug owner living in Toronto Canada. I purchased my pug when she was 10 weeks old - she's now 1 1/2 years. My love for her has been totally unexpected as I had bought her for my daughter who had lobbied me for some time. Having previously only owned German Shepherds I thought I would never be interested in a small dog. But she is absolutely amazing...her intelligence, her devotion, her loving ways have filled my days with joy! You can email me HERE.

My name is Whitney. We got a pug in November, and he just turned one year old. His name is Max, and he is the light of my life. Max is a fawn, and is about 20 lbs.He has been to Boston on vacation, and most recently has traveled to Marthas Vineyard, where he vacationed with his family for two weeks. MAx went to the beach, and actually went in the water!!He also dined out at a pizzeria with his mommy and aunt! Max once again stole the show!!! He had complete strangers taking pictures of him, and talking to him just like his family talks to him in that crazy baby voice. He held his chin up high, closed his eyes, and snorted with pleasure as each person greeted him. He went over on the boat and slept in the cool inside, and stole the hearts of everyone he met. It was outside an icecream shop where he made me (his mommy) feel most like a celebrity. He sat on a bench awaiting his very own delicious frosty treat, and he was greeted by at least 100 people and families, if not more. He was so ! receptive,(as I knew he would be) and loved the attention more than the icecream. Max is very spoiled and rules our house, or should I say, his house (where his people live). He follows me around all day, and nudges into my heels with toys when he is ready to play if I am busy or distracted with something else. He does not approve of household chores being done, (of course because it takes away from his time-which is all the time)but does love to ride up and down the stairs in the laundry basket when I do the wash. Then he makes it impossible to fold clothes, because he loves to lie down in the middle of the pile, and pout!! So as you can see, I think we have a bit of a problen on our hands. He is a clown. Every toy in the house is his, and he runsand hides them when we try to trade him. It is actually easier to allow him to have avery toy in the house, because we lose the battle every time!!! He loves to chew paper and everything else he can get his little mouth on and look! s at us like we have ten heads when we try to discipline him.! My favorite pose is when he has a small red ball in his mouth, and he is laying on the floor on his fat little belly trying to chew it. WHen I tell him (for the hundreth time) that ball is not his and it belongs to his 6 year old human brother,(although as you may have guessed,it has become his)he looks up at me with those huge brown eyes and expressive face, (with the ball still in his mouth of course)as to say "ya right, try and catch me" We love our little guy with all our hearts!! He is affectionate, loving, loyal, kind funny, fat, snorty and wiggly. He is undoubtadly my third child, and my baby.He travels everywhere four legged friends can go,loves to shop and get treats at the checkout line, and even gets babysat during the day whenI work(someone has to support his toy addiction)I never thought I would love a "dog" like I love Max, but there is something about him which is very special, and I could never imagine life without him. He has made such an impact on my life,! one that is profoundly indescribeable. To have a pug and share life with one is the only way to understand what I am talking about. I'd love to hear more pug stories, as I never tire of talking about Max. Feel free to email us HERE.

Ko Ko is my newest baby, She is so smart she scares me sometimes. When I take her for walks, people pull their cars over to see her. She thinks she is a Great Dane.I have had pugs for 23 years but have never had one as smart as her. She rules the roost. I would never have another kind of dog. We live in Idaho. Not only does she have me spoiling her but my aunt comes to my job and gets my housekeys so she can come and get her so she won't be lonely. Rotten, rotten, rotten. Everyone who sees her falls in love. What would I do without her?????? You can email me HERE.

My dog, Li, is the most wonderful dog I've ever owned. She is now 3 1/2 yrs. old. I had just become a widow and living in wonderment of how and what I was going to do...A wonderful relative came along and persisted in trying to interest me in the pug breed. Finally, she won. I went with her to a breeder. Of course, the pug I chose won my heart even before I had her home. While she is perfect in every way, I do have a question about her weight. She is now '25' lbs. and shouldn't be more than 18-19 lbs. You know that. Do you think feeding her once a day is the key? I must get her weight down for health sake. Also, it will be good to exchange thoughts and meet others who have pugs. You can email me HERE

Hi...I just dropped in on this site...It is so great to see what other pug owners are writing. I have a four month old fawn pug boy named Oswald...He is tremendously funny, and we are learning how to live together. It can be difficult at times, because I always had large breed dogs, but I love him. You can email me HERE
